Hello my name is Yang Safia. I'm half korean.
WHAT?! Are you trying to shit me?
No I'm not. I'm half korean because I watch Korean dramas.
WHAT?! You're korean because you watch Korean dramas?!
YES!
Maybe I should introduce myself that way from now on, don't you think?
You see, I've been listening/watching nothing but Korean stuff these days. In fact, it's been like this for the past 2 months. I don't even watch the usual news. I watch Korean news. And they don't even have subs on it. I'm freakin serious. Ask my dad or my friends....I've been driving them nuts.
If you've been following this blog, you must've noticed this obsession when I first post an entry on Super Junior. And from then on, my music is Korean, my news is Korea, my dramas and shows are in Hangul and instead of screaming OMG, I went Aigoooooooooooooo~! instead.
In fact, it is most likely if you come to my house now; you might find KBS on instead of RIA, E! or MTV. My mom doesnt mind it because she's into it too. I bet you, she would be complaining if I'm watching MTV or E! News all the time but now, she's okay if I'm watching Music Bank or Entertainment Weekly. They are basically the same shows except one is in English and the other is in Hangul.
Now that's a bit biased dont you think?
heheheh
You may ask, why am I like this? What happened to the normal Yang? The awesomely cool and lees geeky Yang.
Don't worry, she's still here. Except that currently I'm trying to prove this one theory. They say, if you're always exposed to one language all the time, you may end up speaking it?
Well, I want to speak Hangul and I've been exposing myself to it 24/7. And I think it's working. Well, it's not as well as how my Japanese is but now if somebody speak Hangul, I can actually hear each syllable of the word.
YAY me!
Till then,
TA!
PS: I rly dont know wat to talk about so I had to post this random entry juz to keep this blog alive.
*sneaks back into her shell and continues watching Family Outing*
